Welcome to TMP
We are neither a school, nor a nursery. We are exactly this – a Montessori place which follows the teachings and method of Dr. Maria Montessori. Our warm, screen free and home-like environment has been carefully created to facilitate a transition from home into the grand world, following the child’s pace and developmental rhythm. Year-round, we serve children aged 2.5 to 6, and their families in line with the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) educational standards. We offer a Montessori early-years learning program, running from Monday to Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Our Montessori Approach
Dr. Maria Montessori believed in a child's unique learning capacity, particularly between birth and six years. In our Montessori environment, equipped with sensorial tools, children independently explore and adapt to the world around them.
We base our teachings on the following 5 pillars : Child-Centered Learning, Prepared Environment, Mixed-Age Classrooms, Trained Montessori Teachers, Peace Education.
Training
"At Montessori Institute Prague we provide Montessori teacher training for Assistants to Infancy (0-3), Primary (3-6) and Elementary (6-12) teachers and certificate courses for classroom assistants, in affiliation with Association International Montessori (AMI). We also offer professional development courses for Montessori school managers and administrators and various theme-based seminars and events for anyone interested to learn about Montessori."
